XSPI Partnership and Project Highlights - Indonesia
"Bringing together government, business, academia, and civil society to build lasting development frameworks in Southeast Asia."

Bali Dengue Elimination Initiative

Our Indonesia Working Group partnered with the World Mosquito Program (WMP) supporting their ability to develop and initiate a dengue elimination program in Bali. XSPI developed the business plan, connected WMP with local government and NGOs needed for approvals and implementation and identified potential funding partners.
NTT Province NGO Coordination

XSPI developed a project designed to coordinate the existing development work being implemented by international and local NGOs in NTT province. Local NGOs were identified and surveyed convened in a workshop to discuss the range of topical work, ways in which organizations were partnering and what challenges they face. Discussions led to prioritising climate action and undernutrition. Opportunities were explored to support the government’s new school lunch program covering a wider age range ensuring adequate nutrition from pregnancy through school age.
Eastern Indonesia Strategic Partnerships
Pasan Besa Pae & Springfield Asia Partnership
XSPI’s key Indonesia engagement comprises a strategic partnership with Pasan Besa Pae and Springfield Asia focused primarily on Eastern Indonesia health and community development projects. This provides XSPI a tested two-way pathway to identify and support key projects originating in Indonesia and also transfer key development project opportunities from XSPI’s PNG Working Group.
SDG Partnership Webinar Series (2022)

XSPI and Monash University Indonesia developed and delivered a very well attended four-part webinar series in 2022 focused on the joint themes of Indonesia and Australia partnerships, SDG’s, cross sector partnerships and a specific current development sector theme of joint Indonesia–Australia priority.
