The 5C Approach to Cross-Sector Development

XSPI does not fund or implement. We serve as a zero-cost platform — acting as a Catalyst, Convenor, Collaborator, Co-creator, and Coalition Builder across every stage of development.

Our 5C Approach to Impact Across Core Pillars

XSPI Operating Model: Our 5C approach to impact across any development sector project stages

XSPI take a unique approach. We provide a platform and thought partnership aimed at establishing and enhancing partnerships, identifying and developing innovative projects, and bringing together stakeholders from multiple sectors to promote shared values and common goals in support of country development plans and the SDGs. The XSPI operating model takes a "5C" approach, serving as a Catalyst, Convenor, Collaborator, Co-creator and/or Coalition builder. XSPI does not fund or implement and primarily provides services and access to the XSPI network at zero cost.

Our Model

Cross-Sector Development Partnerships

We pipeline potential solutions through two distinct operational funnels to optimize long-term scalability and immediate field impact.

Pathway A

Strategic Platforms and/or Partnerships

  • • Involvement of established entities from 5 focus sectors
  • • Single industry coalition formations
  • • Longer-term strategy consultations
  • • Commitments established through explicit Collaboration or Strategic Partnership MOUs
Primary Objective

Sourcing multiple, long-term, scalable partnership projects

Pathway B

Tactical Projects

  • • Shorter-term or localized one-time project opportunities
  • • Execution maps not requiring pre-defined follow-up or scalability timelines
  • • Sourced dynamically from either Australian or host country stakeholder initiatives
  • • Requires strict qualifying criteria checks prior to building any partnership consortium
Primary Objective

Foster and support projects that exemplify a cross-sector approach
